Purchasing LotRO Gold From Online Gold Shops
Lord of the Rings Online is an MMORPG that is highly successful, and, like most MMORPGs, its in-game currency, the LotRO gold, plays a critical role in the gameplay of the game. However, making a sufficient amount of LotRO gold is not as easy as it sounds, especially if you want to own high-end items and equipment that players in the MMO industry bestowed upon mecs and heroes.
Most Chinese gold shops can overprice the currency, making it very hard for new players to earn gold by artificial means. Furthermore, those that would resell such items often would steal the account of the seller as well, making sure that they wouldn’t be able to give the gold away to anyone else. This is, in effect, a form of piracy. However, I noticed that there are some outlets that I haven’t seen before that offer a new and unknown way of Earning gold for a low price in real life.
Luckily for me, I saw this business opportunity and put it to use. The result? Half a million aren’t needed, simply by purchasing a character and placing them in the right position in the right guild in the right area. The opportunity is there for all to see, but the question is – will people be willing to part with their money?
That’s what I set out to find out. I visited several sites that were touted as offering reviews, and (cruarily) asked for reviews regarding this “new way of Earning.”
The results I got were surprising and overwhelming. At the bottom of the page, after giving away my initial investment, I saw the following grades:
- 9 Gold – Poor
- 8 Gold – Average
- 9 Gold – Superb
- 8 Gold – Outstanding
- 9 Gold – Very Good
- 10 Gold – Silver
A couple of characters stood out in the 9 gold ranks, one more in the 8 gold rank, and the other in the 9 gold rank. I was intrigued. I had read and dug up some dirt-cheap gold previously, but this was instant income from a well-known brand name! I was skeptical, but I was also quite impressed with their strategy.
Of course, I tried it out on a couple of characters and told my findings to my friends. We checked out the tactics further and found that this is quite a legitimate way of Earning gold in Lord of the Rings Online. Bottom line? There’s a ton of competition, but we also found out that a lot of that competition was using bots to farm gold in LOTRO and sell it to players. Our results were zero. Well, the strategy definitely worked. So, I can honestly say that I found out a thing or two about farming gold in LOTRO. Back in the future, I started to research and investigate the techniques that these merchants were using to deliver the gold to players.
Farming gold in Lord of the Rings Online is a pretty time-consuming task, and it isn’t one that you’ll be able to finish overnight. There are a variety of tactics that you’ll use, and a lot of them are no pretty than the visuals I just gave you. There are sites you’ll hit upon, and a whole array of farming methods that you’ll use, and each one of them has got negative results. I’m not going to go into a bunch of the tactics here, just stick with me and I’ll explain to you in a minute exactly why farming gold is a bad idea in Lord of the Rings Online.
Here are a few examples of why farming gold is not the right way to do things:
– Farming at a spot where you need to constantly be mindful of your surroundings. You also need to move along a migration path, and also need to be of service to others that are in need of items. You don’t want to get in a mob over a farming spot.
– You might not be able to compete with other farmers. You might be able to get items once you farm a certain pattern, but everyone else will be harvesting from the same spot you are. You’ll have to offer something different in the trade channel than what the other player is able to offer.
– You won’t know how the Other Players are farming. Sure, it’s possible to stay in one spot and keep farming, but it’s unlikely that you’ll stay in that spot for very long. You’ll move from location to location, and likely never meet the same person. In the end, you’ll end up farming the same stuff over and over, which is a waste of time.
There was one interesting result that I wanted to point out, and that was that it didn’t matter what character you were. Even level 1 characters were profitable.
Halo 3 ODST – Different Perspective But Still Great Game Play
Halo 3 ODST, the prequel campaign between Halo 2 and Halo 3, offers users the unique opportunity to take on Covenant forces as a rookie Orbital Drop Shock Trooper rather than the head honcho Master Chief. Although the campaign is very similar to Halo 2, it’s actually an improvement over that game in quite a few ways, including the addition of new weapons, equipment, and technologies that can aid in the fight against the alien alliance.
One of the greatest improvements is the use of lighting and shadow in the game, as well as better vehicle physics. This allows the player to use vehicles as a viable weapon rather than simply using brute force to fight his way through the game. There are also new weapons included in this particular campaign, such as the Auto Rifle which fires stronger rounds, at the cost of less damage. Another new addition is the development of the phaser rifle, which, as its name suggests, can change into a phase rifle when activated. When in this mode, the player can zoom in and out and change between the three necessary modes, including aiming. Each of the three modes has its benefits and costs.
Another new mode is called “ometers”, and allows the player to compete in an arena mode using the ranking available through the Xbox Live leaderboards. This is in addition to the single-player mode, which has been typically chosen by more experienced players.
The multiplayer modes are also identical to the previous versions of Halo 3. In addition to the single-player mode, there is also the continuation of the Halo 3 multiplayer events, including Slayer, Dominion, Bounty Hunter, and many other activities.
Halo 3 ODST offers both a single and multiplayer experience and allows users to compete with friends through Xbox Live. In addition to the weapons and modes of previous versions, new weapons have been included in this latest version of the game. These include the OGTA knife, the pocket watch, and the directional pad.
The ODST campaign allows for up to four players to play through the entire campaign at a new faster pace. With the addition of new weapons and modes of gameplay, it offers users the ability to fight the Covenant and fight back to them, as well as engage in intense vehicle combat. Users can select from 11 different weapons and 11 different vehicles to use in this game.
This campaign addition is accompanied by the new Silent Scope, which displays characters from the film series. There are also new, operation theater-style missions, as well as new instances of the well-loved Firefight mode.
The gameplay adds another dimension by including new weapons, modes, and technologies to use during the game. There are thousands of weapons and cool upgrades to unlock, as well as new vehicles and firefights. The vehicles range from basic land vehicles such as a truck or a trailer to sophisticated vehicles such as aircraft or a tank. The equipment includes anything from a flamethrower to a wheeled game-winning sword, all of which can be upgraded.
The center of the gameplay is the weapons and vehicles. These different weapons offer different options for users. The players have the option of choosing a weapon, a secondary weapon, and an armor ability. The different weapons are the same as those in the previous version of Halo 3. However, the players can now modifier these weapons, such as adding a grip to shotguns to increase accuracy. There are multiple armor abilities to choose from. Some of these armor abilities are the Evade ability for increased armor abilities, and Snipe ability for Hunters, which allows the Hunters to snipe off enemies’ vehicles.
It has been announced that Halo ODST will include many secret artifacts, as well as audio logs that will bring interesting new information surrounding the storyline and the history of the Halo universe. Halo ODST is scheduled for release internationally on September 14, 2010, and shall be released to the United States consumers on September 9, 2010.
