Armagetron Advanced

These are the tournaments currently being organized for the Freedomware Gamefest 2007, along with links to all the necessary information about them.

Each tournament has two stages, qualifications and the "final tournament" as the final face off between qualified teams or players using the applicable tournament brackets.

Here is a brief structure of games and their tournaments:

Tremulous tournament

Tremulous is a team based game of war between Aliens and Humans where each can be played.

To connect, either click "play" and browse to server name or type /connect _server.name.or.ip.address_ in console.

Nexuiz Tournaments

Nexuiz Nexuiz is a popular modern fast paced FPS game.

We will have two tournaments featuring this game:

Nexuiz Team CTF (Capture The Flag) tournament
Nexuiz Sole 1vs1 tournament

Rules and guidelines linked above apply to both.

Servers:

NOTE: Nexuiz ladder servers don't start in 1vs1 DM mode. A map has to be changed to one with a dm_ prefix. To do so in console type vcall chmap dm_map where map is map name. (Example: vcall chmap dm_toxic).
