Gamefest Prizes

Freedomware Gamefest 2007 will have an universal winner which will be awarded with the top prize, which includes the following:

• 25% off from any Zareason computer (sponsored by Zareason)
• Logitech G15 Gamers keyboard sponsored by TheLinuxStore.ca

Winners of each tournament will be awarded at least $50 worth of a prize (if we stay with the 6-tournament organization that we're currently looking at).

However, you can make this prize even bigger by making a donation (click the orange "donate" button near the top of the left sidebar) or buying some items from one of the Freedomware Gamefest web shops offered by REVELinux Gears.

All proceeds will be put into this event.

How will the universal winner be determined?

A winner of each tournament is eligible for the universal winner title. If the tournament winner is a team then a team has to choose one person among themselves to represent their team and become eligible. This can be done by a vote or by calculating every team member's overall scores and choosing one with the best score.

Of all who are eligible the one who has the most points (as awarded per wins, losses, draws and forfeits) is the overall winner and gets the main prize. The systems of awarding points are based on main rules and guidelines.
